Robert Bishop

Robert joined the firm as a Junior Financial Planning Associate, providing support to the senior financial advisor as well as helping with client services. Robertís experience and dedication to his work make him a valuable addition to the team.

Robert studied finance at Central Connecticut State University. He also spent several years working in the mortgage department and commercial lending at Enfield Savings Bank, now United Bank. Continuing his education, Robert obtained both a Series 7 and Series 66 registration, as well as a license in Life and Health Insurance. Prior to joining the team at New England Capital Planners, he spent three years developing and strengthening client relationships at Riverside Investment Services.

Robert, an avid golfer, also enjoyed a four-year career as an Assistant Golf Professional at Chippanee Country Club. Other than squeezing in the occasional 18 holes, Robert is also a Campaign Team Member at United Way of Central Northeastern Connecticut, and a former Commissioner for Economic Development in Terryville, CT.


Cyndy Borenstein

Cyndy currently serves as the firmís chief administrative assistant. Cyndy brings many years of experience in the financial sector and provides essential back office support for client and planner services.

Cyndy received her Associate of Arts from Bay Path University. In her free time, she is an active participant in events geared towards raising money for cancer research.


Anne DiSorbo, MST

Anne is the firm's Operations Manager and is responsible for Business Development and Client Management. Anneís accounting and account management background are invaluable to New England Capital Plannerís day to day operations.

Anne received her Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Connecticut and her Masters of Taxation from the University of Hartford. Prior to her current position, Anne enjoyed a 12 year career with CIGNA in both Corporate Tax and Underwriting.

In addition to her professional life, Anne is currently involved in her local PTA as well as the high school booster club, assisting in various fund-raising events. Her prior community involvement includes volunteering as a Junior Achievement instructor, chairing the local science fair, and assisting at the Foodshare Mobil Pantry. Anne is currently an active member of the Connecticut Women's Council and the UCONN Alumni Association.
